WORST. COMIC. PODCAST. EVER!

Apr 6, 2018

Who's ready for some comic talk? Then sit back and enjoy the conversation as the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! takes a look at two recent books from Marvel, featuring two very strong yet very different women.

First up is Jessica Jones #18, as writer Brian Michael Bendis (along with artist Michael Gaydos) says so long to one of his greatest contributions to the Marvel Universe. This is a touching one-and-done story that is worth every penny, as the books is filled with words and art and story and emotions.

We follow that up with Mighty Thor #705, which is the penultimate chapter in what appears to be the final story of Jane Foster. Dying of cancer, Jane knows that one more transformation between Thor and her human self will kill her. But the universe needs saving, and there is only one way out. Find out the details in this epic tale from Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman.

Now, if we just gave you the comic talk, most of you would be satisfied. But wait, there's more. We've watched the first two episodes of Krypton on SyFy, and share our thoughts. Favorite characters, intriguing twists, and what is bothering us the most about this new series.

We also have our picks for next week at your local comic book store, sponsored by our friends at Clint's Comics in Kansas City. If you haven't been down to the store recently, you are missing out on so much nerdy goodness. Go down there and let them know that the podcast sent you!
