WORST. COMIC. PODCAST. EVER!

Aug 23, 2019

It's another week with just two of the guys in the studios. But do not fear! This does not mean that your listening experience will be 33% less spectacular. It does mean that you get more Cullen and Jerry this week. (No worries, though! You can rest assured that the dulcet tones of John will be coming to you next week via your earbuds!)

As always, we start out the show with our Pick 3 selections, sponsored by the fine people of Clint's Comics. Jerry is tasked with guessing Cullen's pick for the week. Let's just say it didn't go well....

Next up, we get into the surprising news from this week, as Sony and Marvel Studios announced the end of their partnership of using Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We share our thoughts, but quite honestly, no one believes this story is completely finished yet. As we are quick to point out, the answer to most every question in life these days is MONEY. If there is money to be made, and there is, then a deal will eventually be worked out. We hope!

Next up is a mail call! Cullen and Jerry each got some comic goodness in the mail this past week, and held off opening up the packages until this recording. Because nothing, absolutely NOTHING, is better for an audio-only podcast than people opening packages. We give you the best each week on the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!

You'll also get some updates for Rose City Comic Con in September, like where you can find Cullen at on the show floor. Hint -- it's table 1003 at the Hero Initiative booth with special guests Ryan Sook and Liam Sharp.

We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you've been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
