On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!, the countdown is on to Planet Comicon. When this podcast goes out, we will be just one week away from the biggest Planet Comicon EVER!
But before we can talk PCC, we have to talk some comics with our Pick 3 selections for next week. As much as we would like to run down a lot of new books, all of the talk for next week is Detective Comics #1000. We make our picks based on the many variable covers available for this issue.
John and Jerry got the opportunity to see an early screening of Shazam!, a welcome addition to the DC Cinematic Universe. Holy Moley! This was a FUN movie. It does get dark at times, but the vast majority of this film is family friendly. We keep our discussion spoiler-free, as hard as that was for us to keep the secret reveal at the end of the movie....
Now, you should know by now where to find us at Planet Comicon. We will be manning the Hero Initiative table at #1030. We will also be hosting out WCPE panel at 10:30 AM on Saturday. If you can remember the numbers 1-0-3-0, you should be able to find us.
We also share some helpful advice for attending a con. Whether your a novice con attendee or a seasoned veteran, running down our list is a good reminder of things to do -- or not do! -- while at the con. You'll thank us later!
We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you've been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
