So you may not have seen this on your calendar this week, but Wednesday, January 16, was National Nothing Day. Completely true. Couldn't make this up if we tried. It was very appropriate, because as we did a check in our group chat, the general consensus was that we had nothing to talk about this week. Nonetheless, we persisted in talking about something for well over an hour.
Of course, you will get your Kansas City and Portland weather updates. We skipped over the old man aches and pains section of the show -- sorry to disappoint all five of you who enjoy hearing about our ailments. We know who you are!

We run down some recent reads. Jerry bunkered down during the first storm of January with both his new books and John's new books, and did a lot of reading of paper comics. John and Cullen opted for some digital reading on Comixology and Marvel Unlimited.
We all got to watch the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer that debuted earlier in the week. Given Spider-Man's last appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he seems to be feeling much better. We are already counting down the days to the release of the movie in early July.

We wrap things up with a look ahead to the AFC Championship game being played at Arrowhead Stadium for the first time EVER! We are concerned that first-fan-of-the-show James Taylor appears to be rooting for the team from New England. Our best guess is that James has been kidnapped and replaced with a Skrull.
