WORST. COMIC. PODCAST. EVER!

Apr 13, 2018

... And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! found themselves united together for an anniversary episode. On that day, WCPE invited friends and family to join us in the virtual studio—to talk about comics that featured the number 200! Through the years, their podcast has prospered, getting better from time to time, but their passion for comic books has never been denied! Heed the call, then—for now, it's the WCPE 200th Episode!

For our 200th episode, we put out an open call to have listeners join in on our conversation via the wonders of the Google machines. We honestly had no idea if this would work or not, but gosh darn it, it was amazing! We had so many friends join in on the conversation! A big thank you to EVERYONE who stopped by to join in on the fun! Expect lots of hugs from us the next time we see you!

We took some time to review our favorite 200th issues (Justice League of America, The Brave and the Bold) to some not very good issues (Avengers, we're talking about you). And even publishers like Archie Comics, which appears to have published 200 different 200th issues with all of their various titles.

We also look ahead to next week, when Action Comics #1000 hits the spinner racks! We make our picks for our favorite variant covers for this landmark issue. Those picks are sponsored by our friends at Clint's Comics in Kansas City. If you haven't been down to the store recently, you are missing out on so much nerdy goodness. Go down there and let them know that the podcast sent you!

We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you've been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
