On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!, we continue our summer reading program with the original Astro City mini-series from 1995. This started a new universe that has spawned countless homages over its 100+ issue run.
Written by Kurt Busiek, interior art by Brent Anderson, and cover art by Alex Ross, Astro City introduces us to multiple characters, situations, and one-of-a-kind moments that can only occur in a big city, albeit one filled with super-heroes.
We are joined in the studio by friend-of-the-show Bill Schmidt who suggested the Astro City series to us.
We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you’ve been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
