WORST. COMIC. PODCAST. EVER!

Jul 22, 2020

On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!:

First off, we are joined in the studio by friend-of-the-show Brent Kincade, who we have been trying to get on the show for like five years. Brent designed our logos and wrote the lyrics to WCPE in Kansas City. We are delighted to finally get him on the line for a podcast recording.

This week, we were inspired to talk about the comics that inspired us. A week or so ago, this was a trending topic in social media, but we wanted to take our time with making our picks. Fair warning, we love to talk about our favorite comics, so this is going to be a long discussion. Make yourself comfortable as we dive into the books that impacted our lives.

We take a minute to honor the late Representative John Lewis, a civil rights leader, a long-time Congressman, and the writer of the award-winning March graphic novel series.

Of course, we have updated on our #My500ComicGoal, including some recent reads from Brent. We're going to remind you that it's not too late to join in on the fun. Want to get started? Pick up a comic and start reading!

As always, we have our Pick 3 selections for new books out today. Make sure to visit your local comic book store - such as Clint's Comics - but please do wear a mask and gloves. Capes are optional but encouraged.

We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you've been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
