We are super-excited to have comic creator Jeremy Haun on the show with us this week. Jeremy (along with Seth Peck, Nick Filardi, and Thomas Mauer) is launching a new book for Image Comics later this month. The Realm #1 hits shelves on September 13, but we get Jeremy to reveal all of the secrets from the first issue.... Well, maybe just some of the secrets..... Truth be told, he didn't tell us a lot about it so we will have to buy this book from him
Jeremy will be going on a book tour this month to promote The Realm, including stops at Rose City Comic Con in Portland and Elite Comics in Overland Park. Make plans to get one of the secret cover editions from Jeremy at these shows.
Speaking of shows, we are one week away from Rose City Comic Con. You can find the WCPE guys volunteering at the Hero Initiative table (#718). Not only will you find us there, you will also find legendary artist Dave Gibbons signing and sketching at the table all weekend. His list of credits is staggering, with Watchmen, Superman Annual #11, Green Lantern Corps, Martha Washington, Kingsmen and more. He even has a panel on Sunday - hope they find some good panel hosts for him!
