While Cullen was slowly melting away in Hot Portland, John and Jerry were chilling with milkshakes in Comfortable Kansas City at our weekly recording of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!
We lead off the show talking about the #MakeMineMilkshakes story
from over the weekend. People, apparently some of you need a

is Nicholas Cage, in which we would like to remind him that the

Next up is a look at two recent reads from John's pile of new
books. We start with CalExit from Black Mask Studios,
which imagines a world where the major cities in California split
from the state following an unpopular election. So ask yourself, is
this real or fiction? Next is Dark Days: The Casting from
DC Comics, which brings us one step closer to the Metal event this
fall.
Finally, we reach the penultimate point of our AvX summer reading. Characters die, relationships are damaged, and the story just keeps on going. But we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Or is it the lights of Kauffman Stadium?
