WORST. COMIC. PODCAST. EVER!

Aug 16, 2019

Let's bring our summer read-along of Legends to a conclusion this week. Hopefully you have been following along at home with some of the issues, if not all. And more power to you if you did!

This event ran 28 issues, so we broke this up over four sessions. If you are just tuning in for Part 4, well, don't blame us if we spoil the ending. YOU HAVE HAD ALL SUMMER LONG -- SINCE 1986!! -- TO READ THIS SERIES!

  • Adventures of Superman #426
  • Action Comics #586
  • Legends #5
  • Cosmic Boy #4
  • Justice League of America #2601
  • Legends #6
  • Secret Origins #14

In addition to our Legends wrap-up, John and Jerry discuss a podcasting panel they hosted at the Johnson County Library last week. We saw some familiar faces and met some new friends, and we apparently did well enough to earn us an email! Seriously, one you listeners love us! (Truthfully, we know that many of our listeners love us! But it doesn't hurt to remind us every now and then via email.)

We also discuss the passing of artist Ernie Colón. The jack-of-all-trades worked for most every publisher at some point during his nearly 50-year career. As always, we would direct you to the Hero Initiative link at the bottom of the page to find out how you can help out creators in need.

We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you've been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
